Went to Kennebunk Maine...They call the area the Kennebunks...it's actually a collection of 5 little towns, including this little fishing village of Kennebunkport. The area is so picturesque. This house is called the "Wedding Cake House." Very...uumm..interesting.

In New Hampshire we went to an old fort in New Castle. It used to be called the William and Mary Castle, it is now called Fort Constitution. The Revolutionarys took over the fort, and held off the British because Paul Revere rode to New Hampshire to warn them that the British were bringing in troops.

The light house is just outside the fort. The fort and surrounding area are part of a Coast Guard base.

It was very cold today with rain and sleet, but we just put on our heavy coats and go looking for some adventure. This area is beautiful. The homes are huge and gorgeous, and very historic. I can understand why so many people come here for vacation.
